If you don’t know what Limited Run Games is by now then most likely gaming and game collecting is not your thing. For those of us that consider ourselves gamers and collectors know that Limited Run Games has been bringing us physical copies of games that were only released as digitals. To a collector this is important, there are so many digital games that were so good that we couldn’t help but desire a physical copy to add to the gaming collection and thanks to limited run this has become a reality for so many digital games.
So Many Limited Run Games, So Little Time!
A year and a half ago I wrote an article titled” So Many Limited Run Games, So Little Time!“. My Limited Run Collection was growing and I had very little time to play all of them. Sadly enough that still holds true today I have a pile of games and very little time to enjoy all of them but most of the titles are past purchases. Now the real question that plagues my head as I write this article and something you all might be curious about is what has changed since then?
Why I Can’t Keep Up With Limited Run Games?
It’s 2019 which is over a year ago that I wrote that article and I realized that I just can’t keep up with limited run games anymore. Back in 2018 limited run games would maybe put out one or two games every two to three weeks and now it seems like physical games are being released far more frequently. Limited Run was strickly Playstation 4 and the Playstation Vita but now they through Nintendo Switch into the mix. To make matters worse most of the Nintendo Switch games go up for pre-order and it horrible temptation because I want them all but therein lies the problem. They are releases games so frequently in 2019 that I just can’t keep up and it is hurting my wallet. No matter how bad I wanted to buy most of the Limited Run Games being released recently I had to pass because of money and this has forced me to miss out on so many releases.
Limited Run Releases Tomorrow!
Tomorrow there are three games releases and there is on Nintendo Switch game up for pre-order. What are you trying to do to me Limited Run Games? Currently Rogue Legacy is up for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch, Hover for the PS4, Timespinner for the Nintendo Switch and Atari Flashback for the Vita goes up sale in limited quantity tomorrow at 10 am as well as 6 pm. I want three out of the four but I’m sure I will have to pass due to money and then the one or two I do go after it will sell out before I have a chance to check out, errr!
In a nutshell limited run games’ success has hurt my wallet and also made it very difficult to financially keep up with all the new game releases. There are a ton of new pre-orders and limited run game sales coming in the month of August alone and more than likely I will not be able to add them to the gaming collection. Even though I have missed out on a lot of what Limited Run Games had to offer I still enjoy purchasing a Limited Run Game now and then. In the comments down below let me know if you have been able to keep up with the Limited Run releases, if not which games have you missed but really wanted and are you planning on picking up some of the releases tomorrow!
