GameSir 3Gs Design & Build Quality
The GameSir G3s has a similar design to the PlayStation 4 controller but I believe the design of the G3s is just a notch better with sexy curves and light-up actions buttons. The controller feels pretty sturdy and made of some pretty solid plastic. The controller is pretty light but doesn’t feel cheap and conforms well to your hands. The GameSir G3s is really comfortable especially after a long gaming section and dear I say it is more comfortable than the PlayStation 4 controller!
The controller has a similar button layout to the PlayStation 4 which is a surprise because most third-party controllers are influenced by the Xbox 360 controller because of its top-notch ergonomic design but the G3s follows the PlayStation design. The controller has the two analog sticks at the bottom center of the controller, four action buttons (a,b,x,y), a tradition D-pad, start, select, turbo, clear, two bumper and two trigger buttons. The GameSir G3s also has a home button which works on the PlayStation 3 but doesn’t seem to work on a Raspberry Pi and I’m not sure why.
Features & Technology
The GameSir G3s has a 32-bit Micro Controller and according to GameSir is capable of computing 48 million times per second. The G3s has Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 which is supported by most modern hardware and several different platforms.
The GameSir G3s has a built-in 600mAh polymer lithium battery that should last about 18 hours in normal conditions and automatic sleep mode is active. The GameSir gamepad is compatible with Android via Bluetooth, Windows PC and PlayStation 3 via a 2.4Ghz wireless dongle.
The GameSir G3s features Dual-Vibration Motos which is pretty standard in modern high-end gamepads and they work really well but personally, I really don’t mind if a controller doesn’t come equipped with vibration.
The controller has the two analog sticks at the bottom center of the controller, four action buttons (a,b,x,y), a tradition D-pad, start, select, turbo, clear, two bumper and two trigger buttons. At the bottom of the controller are several mode lights and indicators.
The GameSir G3s features, in my opinion, one of the best smartphone brackets I have ever seen, now it is made of a light-weight thin plastic but it feels pretty solid and you would have to be pretty forceful with it to break it. The bracket has a clamp feature which clamps around the cell phone and snaps in place. This is something I have not seen on a smartphone gamepad bracket before. The extender arm (cell phone holder) held my LG V20 which has a 5.7-inch screen and there was still about a half an inch more. The middle of the bracket which lays above the GameSir G3s has two knobs that can be turned to adjust the angle of your smartphone…
GameSir G3s Compatibility
The GameSirG3s is compatible with a variety of platforms and it really easy to connect. G3s is compatible with PC, Mac, Android, Android Tv, and the PlayStation 3. Now I have been told on one of my Videos on the We Deem Channel that people just don’t play the PlayStation 3 anymore and I find that to be false. There are plenty of Gamers such as myself that still play the PS3 from time to time and it’s nice to see I can still buy a modern Bluetooth controller for it!

How to Connect GameSir G3s to Android
I think GameSir G3s is going to get the most use on Android Smartphones and it really simple to connect via Bluetooth. The first step is to hold down the A and Home button at the same time for 2 seconds. The Android Indicator light should be flashing at this point and that will confirm we can move on to the next step. Now on your Smartphone you will want to go to setting and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. After confirming Bluetooth is turned on, in the Bluetooth menu click search for new devices, GameSir-G3s should appear and you can click connect via Bluetooth. After all, steps are complete and you have connected the Android Indicator on the G3s will stay on!
How to Connect GameSir G3s to Android Tv
This involves the 2.4Ghz Dongle again so get that little guy out again and plug it into the USB port of your particular Android Tv such as the Nvidia Shield. Hole Down the A and Home button and the Android Indicator light will stay lit if you connected the G3s correctly.
I can’t say enough good things about GameSir let alone the GameSir G3s! The GameSir G3s is an amazing third-party Bluetooth controller, that has an amazing design that stands out from the rest of the Bluetooth controllers on the market and it is compatible with all the platforms that matter. The G3s gamepad is really easy to connect to the different platforms, it’s a really good PlayStation 3 controller alternative if you’re like me and enjoy playing Ps3 games still. It comes with one of the best Smartphone brackets I have seen, it has a 600mAh lithium battery to keep you in the game for hours and in 2018 it at a really affordable price. My only issue is the lack of support for the Nintendo Switch and this is something GameSir lacks on all their gamepads.
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A REALLY GOOD BLUETOOTH / WIRELESS CONTROLLER FOR ANDROID, MAC, PC AND PlayStation 3 I SUGGEST CHECKING OUT THE GameSir G3s. TRUST ME THIS SHOULD BE IN EVERYONE’S PlayStation 3 ACCESSORIES…
